Global Market Development Manager

**What You’ll Do**

Increase DSM’s reach and impact by developing new channels for Nutrition Improvement product solutions (fortified rice and other staples, premixes for emergency food products, public health supplements) with our public and private sector partners which will contribute to deliver on DSM’s ambitious foods systems commitments to filling the nutrients gap of 800Mio people with fortified staples and public health supplements before 2030.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Global strategic business development for Nutrition Improvement (NI) growth pillars (fortified kernels, public health supplements and fortified staples) with public sector organizations and strategic management of selected NI key global customers and partners; Contribute to developing and support implementation of global NI strategy with a focus on fortified rice and Multiple Micronutrient Supplement
- Undertake a global public sector nutrition procurement channels mapping and identify opportunities across products (Premix, market ready solutions)/regions; provide global support to NI customers and partners in liaison with regional segment leads; leads global tenders mapping and management
- Identify new partnership opportunities with global and regional non profit organizations
- Identify and develop new products, solutions & channels to grow NI business, including in school feeding, workforce nutrition
- Explore and develop business and innovation synergies with other HNC segments (ELN/MN/DS) and F&B for NI
- Leverage relevant not-for-profit partnerships to create new opportunities for the NI segment to increase its reach and impact

**Your experience**
- Master’s Degree in Food Technology or Public Health and an MBA or equivalent degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years in progressing roles in a complex matrix environment in the public or private sector of which a minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development or marketing, with relation to food fortification and supplementation
- Strong understanding, network and experience working with global and regional NGOs, UN agencies and donors in public health nutrition with field experience in either Africa, Latin America and/or Asia
- Strong industry and market knowledge, know-how about micronutrients fortification, public health supplementation programs, nutrition interventions and new business models to reach base of pyramid consumer
- Strong communication and understanding and awareness as well as sensitivity to work in a public-private partnership type of environment
- Energy, creativity, diplomacy and out of the box thinking
- Passion for Nutrition Improvement and the fight against Hidden Hunger
- Fluent in English and preferably one other major language required
