**Your role**
- This senior role is part of the DesignOps team responsible for orchestrating and optimizing people, processes and design methods required to consistently deliver high quality designs and impact at scale.
- In this role you will work alongside the Experience Design leadership team and focus on creating, owning and educating the design team and stakeholders in 3 primary areas: how we work together, how we get work done and how our design work creates impact at scale.**Responsibilities**:
- work closely with and educate product design and IT leaders to elevate the design function to deliver superior client experiences across all channels - design is how it works not how it looks.
- harmonize the work of design expert teams, across product streams, by providing design processes, standards, methods, and training to ensure consistency.
- provide cross team visibility of projects, workflows, and best practices to be leveraged by all design teams.
- provide robust design leadership to represent the design CoE within the organization and to educate all parties involved about the importance and general approach to using design as a differentiating factor.
- work closely with the design specialty teams (e.g., design tools, design systems, copywriting, research etc.) to ensure process and methods are up to date, understood, applied and workflow bottlenecks and barriers are removed.
- plan and execute design training with the CoE to ensure an elevated level of design craft maturity across all teams.
- creating and facilitating design prints, retrospectives and co-creation worskhops.
- support the design communication and community manager with content for design education and design community events - act as an evangelist for design within the organization.
- plan and execute the onboarding and induction plan for new designers joining the CoE so they have a detailed understanding of how we work and how we get work done.
- enable and drive cultural transformation amongst product teams and senior management toward becoming a client centered design organization with the goal to improve the overall UX maturity within the organization
- use client centric measurement systems to demonstrate business value creation by following UX design principles in tangible and relevant business KPIs (e.g. improved client satisfaction, product usage, adoption etc.)

- Platforms and Channels UBS Switzerland is constantly looking for new talents. You'll be working in the Center of Excellence (CoE) for Experience Design. In our agile organization you will be collaborating with design, product, channel, and client need teams and support the organizational transformation toward a client centric design organization and shape client experiences while working agile in a hybrid model at UBS offices or from home.

**Your expertise**
- minimum 10 years of work experience in relevant fields and experienced in leading product design teams
- excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management in a complex agile work environment
- expert knowledge of methodologies and frameworks for UX design process, design principles and UX roadmaps and tools (e.g. Figma, Invision, Miro, etc.)
- experienced in training and education teams on design practices and methods (e.g. design thinking, journey mapping, service design etc.)
- strategic thinking and pragmatic decision making with a record of accomplishment of managing using design to create impact at scale
- extensive experience in representation of the design discipline amongst senior business management.
- higher education (degree from a University/ FH, preferably in UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology or similar),
- able to cope with a dynamic and changing environment in an agile setup,
- communicative, independent and proactive personality with the drive to focus on ongoing professional development within UX,
- excellent English skills (speaking and writing); German skills (understanding) would be beneficial,
