The Internet Computer is the fastest and only infinitely scalable general-purpose blockchain — incubated and launched by the DFINITY Foundation in May 2021. A team of over 200 world-renowned cryptographers, distributed systems engineers, and programming language experts have taken on the massive technological challenge of building, maintaining, and continuously improving a 'world computer' powerful enough to host Web3 dApps, DeFi, games, NFTs, social media, and metaverse projects.

DFINITY was founded in 2016 by entrepreneur and crypto theoretician, Dominic Williams, and attracted interest and financial contributions from early members of the Ethereum community. Later, top-tier institutions such as Andreessen Horowitz, Polychain Capital, and SV Angel backed the Internet Computer in a collective effort to help build out Web3.

The Growth team at DFINITY is on a mission to help build the Internet Computer ecosystem by partnering with high impact developers and entrepreneurs, and enabling them to build hyperscale internet services that serve billions of people.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Build an internal cohort of volunteers to assist with various stages of the grant process
- Define, measure, and track success metrics associated with the program
- Manage relationships with grant recipients and shepherd them through the process
- Track and schedule check-ins, milestone delivery dates, and disbursements
- Work collaboratively with Legal and Finance to create streamlined disbursement processes
- Manage external communications of the grant program together with Comms & Marketing
- Participate in external events to help cultivate new grant leads and proactively field developer trends and project ideas

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of work experience in program or project management, business development, consulting, grants, venture capital, or corporate development
- Deep understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchains and other Web 3.0 technologies
- Strong understanding of developers - their needs and demands and ability to spot common themes across different use cases.
- Demonstrated ability to balance thinking strategically and creatively with process and metric-driven execution
- Great communication skills - ability to influence at all levels of the organization and engage professionally with external parties
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
