Global Head of Finance

For our client, a growing group of companies, SAM International GmbH are currently looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join the management team in Switzerland.

Tasks
- Reports to the CEO, closely collaborates with Country Sales Heads, Head of Distributor Management, and Head of Marketing and Senior Project Manager
- With your experience working in start-ups, you will manage senior stakeholders at board level, as well as banks and external investors
- Being hands-on, you will lead all areas of finance globally, including (non-exhaustive): Accounting (inhouse and outsourced), Payroll (external), Financial Planning, Budgeting and Reporting, Risk Management, Liabilities and Investments, Treasury, Tax, IT and Supply Chain Management (contracts, invoices, transfer prices, P2P)
- Leads the finance function and sets up the necessary structures and processes
- Provides the CEO and the board with meaningful financial data and analysis to enable them to make decisions. Takes responsibility for all financial data/issues including capital injections.
- Sets up and delivers meaningful regular reports and analysis, ensures efficient cost control and cash flow management.
- Ensures compliance with accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements as well as data protection, cybersecurity, the commercial code and other relevant laws

**Requirements**:

- Well-rounded and experienced professional ready to take the next step in your career;
- You have 5-7 years of experience from a smilar position, preferably in medical aesthetics or medical devices;
- Hands-on with a good sense of prioritization;
- Experienced financial planning & analysis / controlling professional;
- Understanding of accounting, IT savvy;
- Expert level of MS Office including PowerPoint is a requirement;
- Ideally experience in listed and private equity context, used to working with C-level, board level, and investors in a global environment;
- Business acumen and business mindset;
- Strategic and analytical thinker;
- Clear sense of business priorities, proactive and self-starter;
- Experience in a multi-product, multi-country environment with several legal entities, different currencies etc.;
- Experience in working in international cross-functional teams, very strong interpersonal skills and strong skills of impact and influence;
- Track record of strategic and operational planning in a high growth environment;
- Accustomed to managing a diverse and rapidly changing workload and ambitious timelines;
- Excellent presentation and communication skills;
- Highest level of integrity and ethics, respects and ensures confidentiality;
- Resilient and stress-resistant, good self-management skills;
- Fluent in English, written and spoken. Italian and/or Spanish is a plus.
