At Hansen Technologies, Project Managers lead a team of professionals that develop and deliver Meter Data Management (MDM) solutions to Hansen’s customers. The MDM solutions are IT solutions that are either Windows/Oracle software, or Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions. Hansen’s customers are Energy companies that, for example, operate electricity distribution networks. The customers are located in Europe.

The scale and complexity of the projects vary considerably, and the projects are allocated to project managers based on project manager’s skills and experience level.

**Responsibilities and tasks**

Project Manager is responsible for all the phases of the project implementation process; from project start through execution, go-live, deployment, project closure and finally handover to support team. Your tasks include:

- Managing the scope, cost, risks and schedule of a project.
- Making sure cost and revenue of the project are on agreed level.
- Making sure the project follows quality assurance related practices and guidelines.
- Removing impediments that the project team might face.
- Communicating the targets and challenges to appropriate people.
- Maintaining good relations with the customers.
- Creating and maintain project’s “outlook to future”.
- Doing resource planning and making sure the project team has the right competencies for the project execution.
- Collaborating with other programs and projects, when needed.

You are in charge of the day-to-day management, and motivation of the project team.

**Professional skills and personal competencies**
- At least a B.Sc. degree a on technical field.
- Good command of German and English.
- Project Management experience and skills.
- Good presentation skills.
- Experience in Agile Software Development.
- Experience in IT projects.
- Experience in being in direct contact with customers.
- At least basic finance understanding.

**Experience in some of the following areas are considered a plus**:

- Experience in Energy companies’ IT solutions.
- Experience in AWS technologies.
- Experience in Oracle databases.
- Experience working in geographically separated teams.
