**Project Manager**:

Location: Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Italy, UK Lead the execution of medium-size projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, relevant cyber security regulations and standards, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. The role will report to the Global Product Management Manager.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Lead the project team, establish the project execution approach, and oversee project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals. Provide performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects.
- Ensure that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies. Effectively monitor and control project progress and efficient resource utilization. Monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow. Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued. Capture, analyze, and share lessons learned throughout the project. Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and acknowledgement by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
- Coordinate across all departments the required actions, tasks and or services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers. Support involved departments in negotiations, project changes, updates, project adjustments, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Act as the key contact for the key lead managers and an escalation point for project issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
- Lead the project team members to achieve project requirements, delivery of contracted deliverables and meeting the committed project result.
- Identify and plan all document deliverables required by the contractual scope of work and incorporate this plan into the overall project plan/schedule. Track document progress and follows-up on overdue comments from customer.

**Your background**:

- Degree qualified by a recognized university
- 5 years’ experience leading a multi-disciplined project team
- Recognized project management qualification, APM or Prince and extensive experience in a manufacturing environment preferably industrial or automotive as well as proven track record of delivering high value projects on time and on budget
- Individual contributor using in-depth knowledge of project management to execute complex or specialized projects / challenges often thinking independently to challenge traditional solutions.
