Product Development Manager

Squirro is at the forefront of the Generative AI market with its SquirroGPT solution and the underlying Squirro Semantic Insights Platform. As a **Product Manager** at Squirro, you'll act as a liaison between our Engineering Teams and users, directing the development and improvement of our Squirro platform. You will be instrumental in transforming innovative research into practical, industry-leading products, guaranteeing that our solutions not only fulfill but surpass the ever-changing requirements of our users.

**What does success look like?**

This position requires a distinctive mix of technical comprehension, strategic foresight, and product management expertise. Once you’ve been onboarded and have spent time getting up to speed, success means confidently running the fortnightly sprints, managing the backlogs, and being able to oversee delivery of the product plan.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the entire product development process from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring that the product meets market needs and adheres to timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Establish and prioritize product requirements, crafting comprehensive product roadmaps and feature specifications aligned with our strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, engineers, and the marketing unit to guarantee the effective introduction and acceptance of new features and products.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to recognize trends and opportunities in the technology sector, shaping product strategy and positioning.
- Interact with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and insights, utilizing this information to continually refine product and feature offerings.
- Manage the product lifecycle from inception to release, ensuring projects adhere to timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Cultivate a culture of distinction, ingenuity, and teamwork within the product development team.

**About You**:
With your background working with enterprise level platforms or global tech, becoming familiar with our product should feel like jumping into familiar water. This is a technical role that requires you to keep up with cutting-edge generative AI and semantic search technologies. You love tech and, of course, building technology that changes users’ workflows for the better, and you have a deep understanding of platform governance, a strategic mindset, and a passion for driving product excellence.

**Role Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field
- 4+ years of experience in a technical product management role focusing on IT, SaaS, or Data Science in corporate environment
- Customer requirements gathering and management experience
- Technical solution design & execution experience
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities: must effectively communicate with technical and non-technical people and be able to present complex concepts to a wide range of audiences
- Ability to discuss with the customers and evaluate matters relating to technology, governance, enterprise architecture, regulatory requirements, solution performance, etc.
- Analytical and able to create sound business arguments backed up by data
- Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with attention to detail and organizational skills

**Nice-to-haves**:

- Experience creating or managing Software Development Kits (SDKs) and Developer Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
- Experience with AI/ML platforms and development tools
- A strong sense of good Product Design, User Journeys, and converting platforms into specific use cases.

**This role reports directly to the CPO, Head of Corporate Development.**
