Technical Project Manager

**About the role: Description, tasks & duties**:
uniqFEED’s ground-breaking proprietary Virtual Advertising software “AdApt” is deployed and tested in-house by our team of Video Operators and Product Specialists. This is the system which delivers our promise, “Virtual Advertising Made Simple”. As Technical Project Manager, your part in realising this for our customers is absolutely key to our service delivery.

Our Operations team works on top-tier live sports broadcasts for the world’s most demanding customers. The Technical Project Manager will lead delivery of key projects. It’s a multi-faceted role, you will need to be comfortable with providing a single point of contact for the planning and delivery of our services to tier 1 clients, who rightfully expect only the highest service levels.

Interacting with clients, colleagues, and 3rd parties, you will lead live technical delivery of key strands, negotiating and resolving technical, logístical and practical issues both on location and for remote production solutions. You will be empowered and supported by an exceptional team of operators and software engineers.

A problem solver by nature, you will spot issues at the planning stage, escalating where necessary, to minimise risk and optimise success. When the unexpected happens, you will be the person with answers and solutions which can be realised within existing time and resource constraints.

This role will be based in our Zürich head office. Extensive business travel is expected.

**Your profile**:
**As Technical Project Manager you will**:
- Plan individual and strands of live broadcast projects-
- Personally lead individual deployments-
- On location, manage teams of staff and freelance Video Operators and Product Specialists-
- With the Operations management team, plan and coordinate resources to ensure priorities are met-
- Take in leading role in developing new broadcast solutions and introducing technological developments-
- Support, mentor and develop the Operations team**Required qualifications**:
- Swiss or EU-27/EFTA citizen, or Swiss B or C Permit**Required competencies**:
- Swiss or EU-27/EFTA citizen, or Swiss B or C Permit, or UK/US citizen, willing to relocate**Your Profile**:
- A strong, diverse and verifiable technical background in live sports broadcasting-
- Highly familiar with broadcast video formats, including HD and UHD, in Rec709 and Rec2020-
- You will know the difference between Square Division and 2 Sample Interleave-
- A good understanding of the video codecs and bandwidths employed in live broadcast contribution and distribution.-
- Analytical understanding, structured and results-oriented working method-
- Customer-oriented personality with an affinity to Information Technology-
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the planning and execution of Live Sports Broadcasts, as a Technical Producer, EIC, Unit Manager, Technical Manager or similar-
- An exceptional eye for detail-
- Excellent verbal and written communication-
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken-
- Highly computer literate**Additional plus**:
