Founded by the Swiss research institutes ETH, EPFL, PSI, EMPA and Agroscope, it currently numbers 50 highly committed employees, is growing rapidly, and is situated in the heart of Zurich.

To successfully realize further growth, we are looking exclusively for a

**Head of Human Resources**:
In this position, you will assume overall responsibility for ecoinvent’s HR function and will be reporting directly to the CEO.

**What you do**:

- Develop and own the over-arching strategy for the HR function and team, in line with the company strategy. Key areas are Resource planning, Recruiting & Onboarding, Team Building & Culture, Performance Management, Benefits and Compensation and Learning & Development.
- Lead and develop the HR team.
- Develop, establish, and own HR processes according to HR best-practices.
- Change management: Represent changes that accompany a growing organization convincingly and positively („with a smile“) to employees and accompany them closely in the implementation.
- Advocate and oversee a positive culture (“culture ambassador”), continuing to evolve the hybrid work culture.

**What you bring**:

- Relevant university (or applied sciences) degree.
- Track record of leading HR, especially HR function development, recruiting and change management, in a fast-growing environment.
- Experience in a software/tech company, possibly a science environment very much appreciated.
- You are a structured & strategic thinker and communicator who is also highly pragmatic and strong in implementation and execution.
- Fluent in English and preferably German or French.
- Readiness to travel on a small scale.
