The Director, Strategic Programs will be accountable for overall Strategic Program Management Scoping & Execution and lead multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams to deliver effectively, timely, and on budget the program deliverables and related business case benefits. This role will support the Global Ethicon Supply Chain portfolio.
**The Director, Strategic Program scope of responsibilities include**:
- Lead strategic supply chain program execution/ implementation effectively & aligned with business case objectives.
- Establish a detailed plan to execute and implement project activities effectively, timely, and on budget while minimizing any impact to base business.
- Lead a cross-functional team in the implementation of large-scale strategic program.
- Challenge the team to be a robust team that identifies solutions to exceed elements of the business case benefits.
- Understand complex problems and focus on bringing issues to resolution, influencing, and raising as necessary to meet timelines. Includes clarifying and defining program requirements / scope for cross-functional problems.
- Ensure effective Project Management processes are in place and executed with appropriate controls, metrics, and leadership updates
- Ensure strong partnership and collaboration across various functional pillars and Ethicon platforms
- Manage results-oriented demands relevant to scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality, and differing stakeholder requirements and expectations to satisfy outcomes
- Create and deliver updates to Supply Chain Leadership and key stakeholders on project goals, plans, issues, and risks, including progress reports, mitigation, and contingency plans
- Sets the standard for timeliness, work ethic, and personal integrity.
- Provide inclusive work environment to ensure diverse and complete solutions

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- High level of business acumen and understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes to have foresight to key risk areas and expertise to support risk mitigation.
- Proven record in both Supply Chain Operations as well as Program Management roles. Demonstrated cross-functional knowledge in Plan, Source, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Deliver with direct experience in at least 2-3 of those functions. Additional Financial and Tax background will be a plus.
- Strategic Supply Chain thinking and vision - ability to visualize a high performing supply chain and support the development of business processes to deliver
- Strong financial acumen in managing large program budgets and translating program deliverables and business models into future cost projections
- Able to manage complex transformational projects/programs, across a wide set of functions, to deliver transformational business outcomes.
- Customer Orientation (building and maintaining strong relationships with Senior Management).
- Strong leadership, vison and strategy setting, communication, influencing, collaboration and talent development skills
- Strong project and change management capabilities from Strategy development to flawless execution.
- Multi-county and Multi sector experience preferred with experience across geographies of varied sizes and businesses.
- Strong verbal and written communication skill with ability to confidently present complex information with Executive leadership teams.
- Ability to continuously improve the organization.
