**Research Associate / Large Molecules / Antibodies (4995 - CBO)**
Our client is a pioneer in Drug Discovery and Development and one of the frontrunners in Personalised Healthcare. As the world's largest R&D spender in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics domain, they work in a vast number of drug discovery & therapeutic areas and are highly recognized internationally.
We are looking for a talented **Research Associate** with practical knowledge in the development of therapeutic antibodies: selection, screening, and characterization of therapeutic antibodies and proteins using in vitro display technologies.
This is a **12 months contract** based in Basel, Switzerland.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Be familiar with the biochemical characterization of proteins (WB, PAGE, DotBlot, etc.)
- Write laboratory reports and present your results to other team members and project teams.
- Continuously improve current processes and procedures and help to implement new technologies
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- **Relevant Swiss working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required**
- Master Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Biological Sciences
- 2-3 years working experience as an associate in the pharma industry
- Hands on laboratory expertise in molecular biology
- Good understanding and practical experience in vitro selection (e.g. phage display, ribosome display, etc.)
- High degree of self-motivation, flexibility, and scientific curiosity, team player, proactive
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English is a must
