**Research Associate**

For our client in Basel, we are looking for a Research Associate to work on genomic medicine and synthetic biology projects.

The focus of this position is to contribute to experimental activities related to gene editing and RNA editing of early drug discovery phases.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform cell culture of human cells (cell lines, hepatocytes, neurons, etc)
- DNA, RNA and protein purification
- DNA and RNA transfection
- PCR, qPCR, western blot, immunofluorescence and microscopy
- Data analysis using Excel and GraphPad Prism
- Presentation and discussion of results in lab meetings

**Your profile**:

- Master degree in Biology or related fields
- 2 years of work experience as a Research Associate
- Previous experience in mammalian cell culture, DNA and RNA purification methods, qPCR, western
- Blot
- IT skills in Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism
