We are looking for an inspiring thought leader and practitioner in Corporate Communications to strengthen our expertise in this field - focusing specifically on the DACH market. In close collaboration with the Global Head of Communications, you will help us to craft impactful corporate PR strategies that bring our regional priorities to life in earned media. This role is an exciting challenge to help us define the next stage of how On is discovered and perceived in the DACH region.

Your Team:
The On Global Communications team exists to tell powerful stories about On that enhance the brand’s reputation. The team is responsible for corporate media relations, financial communications, issues/crisis management, executive communications, athlete storytelling and impact communications.

Your Mission:

- Build and manage relationships with business/financial media in Switzerland, Austria and Germany
- Contribute to the development of On's global corporate narrative
- Develop strategies to enhance and protect On corporate reputation in the DACH region
- Manage issues and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Develop strategies that capitalize on the evolving digital comms landscape
- Partner with On’s DACH Brand PR team to provide messaging support and assistance when required
- Leverage data to help inform On's corporate communications strategy

Your Story:

- A real expert in your field, you’ve worked in the external Communications field for at least 10 years and have loved every minute of it
- You have well established, working relationships with senior editorial contacts - particularly in Swiss business media and news outlets
- You have a deep understanding of the wider DACH business media and news market
- You are highly experienced in providing communications support to senior Executives
- You thrive on placing in-depth, stories and features in top tier business and financial media outlets
- You’re able to build a succinct communications strategy and deliver against it
- A positive spirit, you guide, direct and inspire those around you. You see yourself as a partner to your teammates and want to help them achieve their true potential
- You understand that leadership is not given - it's earned through hard work and commitment to your team. You live by this and have a track record of building the next generation of leaders
- Truly business savvy, you’re quick to understand and navigate both risks and opportunities
- You thrive when you don’t have all the answers, you work tirelessly and autonomously in order to turn ideas into reality
- Articulate and eloquent, you're completely comfortable when it comes to crafting a message in German and English
