WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage and support DACH Market Reputation activities, including
- DACH Conferences & Events: Provide guidance, help develop and execute overarching DACH Conferences & Events as sparring partner for junior team members, including communication with key stakeholder, consulting staff and agencies
- Digital Mailings and CRM: Oversee mailing content to local community, and support maintaining local contacts / influencers in CRM database (all countries)
- Alumni: Help develop and execute a local population segmentation and engagement strategy as sparring partner for junior team member, including communications and events that support and augment/dovetail with Practice and Account efforts
- Own, plan and execute Market Reputation marketing activities, including truly local activities for:
- Conferences & Events: Plan local market reputation events and support Conf. & Events CoE with light execution (e.g., for translation and timing / logistics / local advice); contribute to organization in conjunction with other relevant CoEs
- Local office priorities: Assist Client Development efforts for local priority accounts (i.e. non P1/2/3/4/x accounts) and execute internal office communications
- Lead team members
- Manage performance and professional development for direct reports. This includes providing leadership and day-to-day team management, as well as hiring, training and developing team as needed
- Provide on-going timely feedback; act as coach and mentor to team members
- Continuously share learnings and best practices with all team members
- Facilitate cross-regional alignment and sharing best practices within industry
- Provide functional marketing advice to local office head and partners
- Serve as a strategic sparring partner for senior Marketing colleagues
- Provide on-going Marketing support to the DACH Market Reputation Lead, Office Head, and local office Partners
- Work collaboratively with other Marketing functions to ensure plans are aligned / complementary and to achieve Bain Marketing’s overarching goals
- Track Market Reputation KPIs and performance to help optimize effectiveness
- Take a lead in improving and innovating marketing tools and processes
ABOUT YOU
- 6-8 years of relevant B2B marketing experience
- Broad expertise and experience in general marketing programs and processes
- Ability to proactively conceive and suggest new approaches and solutions
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results in coordinating and executing distinct projects, including event and budget management skills, and goal pursuit
- Demonstrated ability to understand marketing needs and marketing objectives of local offices and industry practices esp. for Switzerland
- Effective written and oral communication skills, ability to liaise with stakeholders of various seniorities with mínimal input from Manager
- Ability to interact with external contacts / parties as knowledgeable Bain marketing representative
- Client-centric mind set
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Role model in Bain Operating Principles
- Fluent in German and English
**Preferred**:
- Master degree in business / marketing / comms / social sciences
- Professional services experience
- Visible within office and viewed as positive influence on culture and morale
- Active leadership role as mentor / coach to others in the region regarding your deep expertise
