Location: Root D4, CH, 6039Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer and other types of solid cancers.
To support our team in Root, Switzerland we are looking for a
**International PR & Communications, Associate Director**
In this role you will be responsible for creation and promotion of the corporate identity and mission to customers, the public and employees through the creation and distribution of brochures, news releases and other documents. In this role you will report into and closely collaborate with the Senior Director, International Business Operations.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Development of communications strategies and a unique identity to position Novocure and Optune with key audiences externally.
- You work in close collaboration with general managers in key geographies in the EUCAN region in order to understand how Optune is perceived and received amongst key opinion leaders and customer stakeholders in order to further hone value propositions and engagement strategies.
- You create and maintain dynamic commercial playbooks where necessary to help train and support KAMs.
- You take core value propositions and build out segment-specific value propositions to ensure resonance with specific stakeholders.
- You seek, evaluate and contract key support partners and agencies suchs as media / PR, creative and medical writers and work with PR partners to develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media in key geographies.
- You establish, train and support a media-trained leadership community within Novocure.
- You develop engaging content while managing all internal and external communications channels within the overall Novocure communication guidelines.
- Working closely with Global Communications on proactive and reactive media engagement around the topics closely linked to Novocure and Optune.
**Your profile**:
- You bring profound experience in strategic communications in a fast-paced setting. Ideally you have worked withinin a life-science or pharmaceutical environment in the past as well as bringing experience in consumer goods.
- You possess excellent interpersonal skills and are comfortable working in a cultural environment.
- You are willing to take smart risks by thoughtfully challenging the status quo while demonstrating outstanding consulting skills.
- You bring a proven track record in designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both local and national level.
- You have experience in acting as a company spokesperson when appropriate including bringing skills in both broadcast and print media interviews.
- Solid experience with positioning, promoting and protecting corporate brand identity across social media platforms.
