Location: Root D4, CH, 6039Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer and other types of solid cancers.
To support our team in Root, Switzerland we are looking for a
**International Associate Director, CNS Tumors Marketing**
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the International Business Operations by continuing to develop strategies for current and future CNS indications.. Working across all customer types, you consult with and challenge our Marketing, Medical, Communications and Events departments in the regions and countries to maximize our preparedness level.
Additionally you will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and brand management, working in partnership with other internal and external marketing and launch experts to define the launch strategy.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Further development of the current and future strategy for CNS Tumors and future CNS indications in collaboration with Global Marketing, Global and International Medical Affairs, Global and International Market Access and local markets.
- You support the Senior Director, International Business Operations in the preparation for the launch of our ovarian indication.
- You adapt global messaging and launch campaigns to the international Region to address individual needs and requirements while overseeing and supporting local implementation.
- You ideate and develop promotional initiatives and educational material for key customer segments.
- You collaborate with global functions and local markets to ensure consistency and share best practices.
- Participation in business and strategic planning for CNS Tumors together with global and local marketing teams and cross-functional partners.
- Addressing opportunities and solving of business and marketplace issues through creativity, innovation and out of the box thinking.
- You additionaly manage external agencies regarding Creativity, Digital Strategy and Digital Development.
**Your profile**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, business or related field.
- You bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience with in-line product marketing in the oncology therapeutic area.
- Experience in working across regions and proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with key opinion leaders.
- You are able to work independently and engage with stakeholders directly to set goals and drive the conversations to achieve goals.
- You are fluent in English. Both written and spoken. Any other European languages are a benefit.
- You are willing to travel up to 40% of the time, including occasional weekend travel to congresses and internal meetings.
