Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer and other types of solid cancers.

To support our team in Root, Switzerland we are looking for a

**Associate Director, EMEA Marketing**

In this challenging role you will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and brand management in regards of Novocure’s go to market efforts for future indications across all customer types and countries. Working in close collaboration with local and global marketing as well as internal and external digital experts and other departments within the business to define launch strategies.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Development of go to market strategies for our next indication areas in collaboration with global and local marketing as well as medical affairs while directly supporting the Sr. Director, EMEA marketing.
- Adaptation of messaging and launch campaigns to EMEA needs, requirements and overseeing local implementations.
- Development of promotional initiatives and educational material for key customer segments.
- Application of creativity, innovation and out of the box thinking in order to address opportunities and solving business and market place issues.
- Management of partner agencies on creativity, digital strategy and digital development.
- Working in cross-functional teams to secure plans address the objectives, strategies, budget and resource needed to support the communications objectives set in the annual business plan.
- Management of the internal, Medical, Legal/Regulatory and Marketing material review process (Veeva) for assigned projects.
- Effective and efficient management of resources.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Extensive experience with in-line product marketing or regional marketing with focus in the oncology therapeutic area.
- Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with key opinion leaders
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders directly to set agenda and goals and drive the conversation to achieve goals.
- Understanding of the activities, regulations and processes required for successful product marketing in the healthcare industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time (domestically and internationally) including occasional weekend travel to congresses and internal meetings.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken. Any other European languages are a benefit.
