We are currently hiring for a Product Designer to design foundational patterns, UI components, tools, and processes that enable designers and engineers at Tundra to create consistent, high-quality user experiences.

As a Product Designer in Tundra, you will be joining a team of 3 and work at the intersection of design and engineering, driving decisions that directly impact the design and code quality of Tundra. You’ll be asked to collaborate with designers and product teams from across the company to design systems, components, and tools that raise the quality and consistency of the Tundra product experiences. However, boundaries between specialties are permeable, so you can expect to collaborate with other designers and managers on a broad set of design challenges that don’t fall neatly into one specialty. As part of our growth, we’re planning to scale the Design team even more and divide into specialties: Experience, Design Operations, Visual/ Marketing Design and Research. This means that you will have a chance to shape your future with Tundra based on your strengths and interests.

Tasks
- Bring Tundra's visual experience to the next level
- Own the Tundra Design System to increase design consistency
- Contribute in all design-related projects
- Work closely with FE engineers and product management
- Translate UX design into pixel-perfect mocks
- React fast to design changes and adapt designs by finding an optimal solution

**Requirements**:

- Proactive, passionate and have the needed perseverance for creating great software
- Proficient in Figma
- Able to work both independently and with teammates in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and design skills, and attention to the details
- Experienced in building and evolving design systems
- Familiar with responsive design, best practices for web and mobile accessibility
- Empathetic and a good communicator
