The European Business& Regulatory Compliance team is part of the Global Legal, Compliance& Risk Department. The team ensures that our business is in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
The Legal function in Switzerland covers all Swiss related legal topics, including Business Legal and Corporate Governance.
What you will do
- Follow-up on different activities foreseen in the Compliance annual calendar and particularly on regulatory obligations
- Monitor outsourced Compliance activities
- Support the coordination with other team members (i.e., by collecting input and producing tables and presentations)
- Support and assist other members of the team on projects as and when they arise
- Provide administrative and legal support to a legal team, assist with drafting and reviewing contracts, conduct legal research and document management.
What you bring
- Ideally Master student in Legal
- Fluency in German and English required, further languages would be highly beneficial
- Basic knowledge of financial services and the various types of securities
- Open minded and able to work in a multinational team across Europe
- Basic skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint are a must
- Ability to use ChatGPT, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices
- Practical experience in Legal or Compliance work would be beneficial.
