The EBU is looking for a Media Project Manager based in Geneva.

**ABOUT THE EBU MEDIA DEPARTMENT**

The role of EBU Media is to support EBU Members with great content and to reach all audiences. This is done through two main pillars of services: content provision services in the areas of music, news, live events and entertainment; and strategic support around content and audience-related matters, such as storytelling, transformation, distribution and platforms.

**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION**

The Project Manager’s main function is to manage, follow up and ensure delivery of projects, communities and tasks that aim to build knowledge and to foster team engagement and collaboration with groups of Members and within EBU Media teams. The person will have strong communication and writing skills, can easily engage with people and can work independently. S/he reports directly to the Head of Business Development in EBU Media, while working transversally across the Media Department as part of a project management pool that serves various needs for the different units of the Department.

The role is transversal and will require the incumbent to work on projects from Radio, Digital and/or TV units as well as the Business Development Unit. S/he has experience as a project manager and is able to accumulate new knowledge on these specific mediafields.

**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**

Strong background and training in project management (PMP or similar certification a plus)
Strong people skills and Member/customer-driven approach
Knowledge of lean project management and design thinking
Strategic thinker
Strong interest in media and marketing
Good writing skills for digital platforms
Basic design and video editing knowledge a plus
Demonstrated flexibility in problem solving and handling uncertainty, adapting and changing tasks according to project needs
Highly organized and autonomous
Able to find creative solutions and efficiencies regarding budget, scheduling, logistics, etc
Good team spirit
Continuous learner
Excellent written and spoken English
