Digital Innovation Director

My Client who is one of the largest, multinational Pharmaceutical companies is looking for a Digital Innovation Director to join their team in Basel, Switzerland on a 12 month contract. My client looks for long term collaboration so not only do most contracts get offered an extension, they also tend to promote contractors which not only allows you to build your career but also benefit from being a contractor They are also very well known so even if you do decide to move on once your contract ends, everyone will know what exposure you've had which would make it easier to secure new roles

**Some of the responsibilities**:
Lead cross-functional project teams and task forces of multidisciplinary experts across varying areas of technological proficiency ensuring the assessment / execution of digital projects
Develop and manage new processes where no process or precedent exists, while maintaining compliance with current regulations (both internal and external).
Proactively manage risk, including assessment of impact on clinical operations and development of mitigation plans.
Collaborates with the Global Head of Data & Digital, Digital Program Heads and Head of Operations and Digital Transformation in preparation of organizational recommendations, business cases, financial forecasts and updates for senior management and organizational leadership teams

**Requirements**:
10+ years industry experience with 5+ years or equivalent multi-/cross-functional leadership experience
Excellent understanding and direct relevant experience with digital technology and Pharmaceutical development. Expert knowledge in drug development/clinical operations
Direct experience developing, launching and leading functions within a complex matrix environment. Advanced project / program management skills
Strong leadership presence and experience interacting at executive levels with the ability to bridge gaps between scientific, technical and business participants
