For our client, a globally leading pharmaceutical corporation headquartered in the Basel Area, we are seeking an experienced Program Director (m/f/d). This organisation stands at the forefront of clinical research and drug development, driving medical innovation through world-class science and technology. With a strong commitment to digital transformation and patient-centric solutions, they are implementing one of the industry's most ambitious technology modernisation programmes in clinical trial data operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic program delivery
    for an $82+ million technology transformation initiative replacing core clinical trial data platforms, ensuring on-time implementation by Q1-Q2 2027
  • Provide executive oversight and leadership
    for a complex matrix organisation comprising 60+ internal team members and multiple external technology partners
  • Drive digital transformation ambitions
    including industry-standard concepts and data foundation frameworks across clinical data operations
  • Ensure GXP compliance and quality standards
    throughout large-scale platform integrations and technology implementations
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and change management
    for 1000+ end users across the organisation, including training, communications and adoption strategies
  • Partner with senior leadership
    in program governance and steering committees, providing independent strategic guidance on complex implementation challenges
  • Oversee technical deliverables
    and coordinate collaboration between IT services, business functions and external partners to achieve business value and impact

Your Profile

  • Extensive experience in large-scale IT program delivery
    within pharmaceutical, biotech or regulated industries
  • Proven track record in enterprise platform implementations
    involving complex system integrations and data migrations
  • Deep expertise in Clinical Data Operations
    , including processes, current technology landscapes and future-state workflows
  • Strong knowledge of GXP system compliance
    requirements and validation in regulated environments
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
    in managing cross-functional teams of 50+ personnel including internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in wide-scale change management
    across large workforces (500+ employees)
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
    with proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership and external partners
  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on delivery expertise
    to translate complex technical challenges into workable solutions
