Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA) is a nonprofit organization that currently advises on and manages more than $400 million in annual giving by individuals, families, corporations, and major foundations. Continuing the Rockefeller family's legacy of thoughtful, effective philanthropy, RPA remains at the forefront of philanthropic growth and innovation, with a diverse team led by experienced grantmakers with significant depth of knowledge across the spectrum of issue areas. Founded in 2002, RPA has grown into one of the world's largest philanthropic service organizations and, as a whole, has facilitated more than $3 billion in grantmaking to nearly 70 countries. RPA also serves as a fiscal sponsor for more than 100 projects, providing governance, management, and operational infrastructure to support their charitable purposes.

Following twenty years of successful growth, we are ready to appoint our first, dedicated Director of Europe. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Sponsored Projects & Funds, the Director of Europe will be responsible for leading RPA’s Europe strategy through: business development and pipeline generation; portfolio management and support; public representation and advocacy. The Director of Europe will work with our global team on advising individual donors, trusts, corporations and foundations on their grantmaking and other philanthropic activities.

We seek an experienced leader and self-starter, with a deep passion for RPA’s mission and values, and a commitment to excellence. Our first Director of Europe will have experience and networks across the philanthropic sector in Europe as well as commercial drive, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

The position is based in any European location where our stakeholders are based, such as Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands or the UK.

The base salary for this role is approximately €160,000-€175,000 p/a depending on location.
