Summary of Team*
Catalyst Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) provides EMEA-specific, creative solutions promoting organizational inclusion and workplace innovation to Catalyst supporters. This team of 12 professionals is looking to hire a Director who will work closely with her/his colleagues across the region.
**Summary of Responsibilities**
Reporting to the Executive Director, EMEA the Director will play a lead relationship management role to a portfolio of Supporter companies, representing all Catalyst offerings with the objective of deepening engagement and driving Supporter and mission impact. S/he will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new Supporter prospects as well as identifying opportunities for learning and advisory services engagement within existing Supporter companies.
The Director will build a Supporter success strategy that is market relevant. S/he will leverage Catalyst resources/collateral/experts to establish our brand in the regional market; tailor communications and interactions to market trends, hot-button issues and industry focus; serve as the key representative of Catalyst in the region, building relationships and points of collaboration; identify missed opportunities and build and communicate recommendations for addressing them; and leverage communication and influencing skills needed to interact effectively with key DEI contacts (from Manager to SVP level), as well as with ERG leaders. S/he will also work closely with colleagues to develop convening opportunities, bringing together Supporter companies and prospects so that the prospects can experience Catalyst’s work in action.
**The responsibilities will also include the following**:
- Ability to take initiative in lead generation and tracking the pipeline
- Natural curiosity to inquire across trends, but also explore potential pockets of opportunity to grow the supporter base
- Serve as a Relationship Manager and effectively oversee a portfolio of accounts across the EMEA region varying in company size, industry, and focus
- Update Salesforce database and records: engagement tracking, interaction notes and account administration, as well as lead generation
- Work cross-functionally across all Catalyst teams to effectively manage supporter expectations and deliver on goals
**Develop Expertise**
- Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of Catalyst supporter benefits, research, and services
- Establish virtual communities to initiate dialogue, share best practices, and build virtual engagement across functions and geographies
- Support successful convening events in EMEA
**Education, Knowledge and Skills**
- Has an undergraduate degree and 8+ years of work experience; has 5+ years relationship management/customer success experience, some or all of which has been gained with large to very large corporate clients
- Has some experience with prospecting/selling to corporate clients
- Has DEI knowledge/experience, or brings a clear passion for DEI and a keen interest in learning
- Fluency in English (oral and written) and German are required; fluency French is ideal
- Possesses knowledge of Catalyst research, tools, case studies, learning/advisory services offerings, or the ability to acquire this knowledge early in role
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, an understanding of, and commitment to, customer service, and a professional demeanor
- Has a high level of computer literacy in a networked Windows environment, including database management and word processing/pc skills (knowledge of Salesforce, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook a plus)
- Is highly responsive and comfortable working in fast-paced, client-centered environment
