AREA SALES MANAGER - TRAVEL RETAIL EUROPE & AFRICA
About Coty
**Main Responsibilities**: Reporting directly to a Senior Key Account Manager, this position will lead part of the Sales, Profit and In-store performance of the key Travel Retail Europe & Africa retailer.
Achieve Sales and P&L Plan
Manage the P&L of retailers in different channels such as Airports, Ferries, Cruises.
Define commercial strategy in line with budget in order to reach sales and profitability targets.
Continuously look for, and assess, new business opportunities within the area.
Account management
Define and sell business plans to the retailer.
Develop strong working relationship at all levels of the retailer’s organization.
Work with clients to maximize all aspects of business (in-shop space & locations, investments, promotions ).
Support Key Account Manager in annual commercial negotiation.
Animations /Promotions activities
Negotiate promotional activities to develop the business.
Forecasts innovations and non-saleable products.
Coordinate execution with the team (field sales force & merchandising).
Define & track budget and align on target with the team.
ROI/Performance/sell-out analysis.
In-Store excellence
Ensure the in-store plan is executed with excellence and is per business plan negotiated.
Leverage the multi-functional organization (In-store design, Marketing, Supply) as well as the dedicated local field-based organization dedicated to the retailer
Continuously seek new opportunities in space and location to enhance brand image and expand portfolio into new categories.
Challenges

Build account relationships at corporate and store level.
Implement a variety of brand strategies.
Travel ~20% of the time.

Strong collaboration, ownership and leadership skills required.
Strong analytical and excel skills.

A sharp eye for in-store excellence in execution.

**Language**: Fluent English
University Graduate, Economy or business related.
Experience in sales, marketing, trade marketing, and Beauty & Travel Retail experience is a plus.
