The context of the role is building One Procurement community with globally harmonized and standardized processes and leading the digital transformation of the Procurement function. The incumbent of the role will lead initiatives of the Procurement Excellence team at Global level and inspire change management, communication and implementation across all Lonza sites. By providing insights, benchmarking and external intelligence, you will play a meaningful role in promoting continuous improvement within your area and enabling the function to become world-class.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead strategic cross-functional projects across all Lonza sites, driving the Procure-to-Pay process mapping and defining the execution strategy
- Support the digital transformation of the Procurement function by defining priorities and identifying/evaluating relevant digital tools. Functionally craft, define, and coordinate the implementation of new technologies across the entire LPBN network.
- Collaborate with internal collaborators in Procurement, Operations, and Corporate Functions and drive communication particularly for groundbreaking changes
- Build and introduce Procurement policies and guidelines including change management
- Improve procurement processes by addressing difficulties, prioritizing, and implementing action plans effectively.
- Ensure consolidation of accurate, effectively categorized, and transparent Global Procurement data and reporting

Key requirements:

- 10+ years of experience, preferably in Procurement processes optimization (S2P) and with data analytics, digital technologies
- Knowledge/experience in Ariba, SAP ERP, e-procurement, and catalogues
- Preferably Procurement/Strategic Sourcing experience
- Preferably international experience
- Experience in driving and delivering global projects
- Strong agility and influencing skills, effective communication
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in English is required; knowledge of any other languages is advantageous
