**Project**:
For our client, a large pharmaceutical company based in Basel, we are looking for a Procurement Delivery Associate (M/F/d)

**Background**:
The Global Procurement (GP) department is involved in the purchasing processes of capital projects. Due to the increasing investment volume and procurement effort, we are seeking additional support. This position would improve project delivery times, foster closer supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with procurement guidelines. It would also reduce the workload of existing team members. Ultimately, it would contribute to increasing value creation and efficiency in capital management.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Processing purchase requisitions, orders, and invoices in the ERP system
- Contract management: Responsible for the administrative handling of tenders, contract preparation
- Conducting non-complex tenders
- Processing warranties, acceptance protocols, and insurance documents
- Supporting procurement activities for projects; handling reactive or business-related procurement requests within a specific region, country, or large site. Carrying out smaller procurement activities such as ad hoc, call-off, and unplanned/planned or reactive business-related procurement activities to ensure maximum procurement impact
- Supporting procurement requests in accordance with the specifications of the respective category and relevant policies, standards, specifications, and work instructions, including agreements and contracts with existing suppliers. A Procurement Delivery Associate works with procurement and the company's stakeholders to understand requirements and implement the appropriate procurement process using appropriate methodologies, tools, and bundling.

**Must-Haves**:

- Completed 3-year apprenticeship as a business administrator for office communications
- Additional training as a specialist in purchasing and materials management or bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement
- Good communication skills and understanding of how requirements can be implemented within companies
- Good knowledge of procurement systems and processes, templates and processing tools, e-contracting, SAP
- Excellent German and English skills
