In the area of Treasury & Payments within the Sub-Division Operations, we are looking for an engaged and motivated Section Head to take the overall responsibility for Operations Cash Management, Money Market and FX/PM processing.

The cash management section of Bank Julius Baer is organized as part of the Operations Department, where it supplies its services directly to Asset and Liabilities Management.

Money Market is a segment of the financial market in which financial instruments with high liquidity and very short maturities are traded.

FX and PM Backoffice’s main function is trade confirmation matching and trade settlement of all FX (Forex) and PM (Precious Metal) transactions.

**YOUR CHALLENGE**:

- Leadership responsibility for the teams of Cash Management (6), Money Market (4) and FX/PM processing (5)
- Ensure daily business readiness and provide services with Operations high quality standards
- Support and contribute to the development of departments risk framework and financial goals
- Identify and develop internal talents. Manage the performance and professional development of team members
- Responsibility for IT and process changes, especially in collaboration with internal project teams (RoC: Replacement of the Core System)

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- 7- 10 years of experience in a Head role in the banking sector
- Experience in Cash Management, Money Market and FX/PM processing is essential
- Knowledge of CBPR+, SWIFT, SEPA and SIC messages and standards (ISO20022), Instant Payments beneficial
- Flexible, reliable and resilient personality with a can-do attitude
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and cultivate positive working relationships across divisions
- Good organizational, planning, analytical and conceptual skills. Experienced in project work and process improvement
- Sophisticated problem solving and communication skills, fluent in German and English
- Profound knowledge of MS Office products and generally tech-savvy
