As part of Business Management team for the International Private Bank in EMEA, you will be joining a core team that works alongside senior executives to deliver impact. In your Business Manager role, you will have the opportunity to steer the management rhythm of the organization, implement internal communication strategies, drive various senior management culture initiatives and run project activities on key risk and business-related programs across the region. The team offers unrivaled level of exposure and access to key topics and stakeholders at the bank.
**Summary of the role**:
Business Management function is designed to help drive growth in wealth management by implementing a sales process that brings the full DB capabilities to the benefit of our clients incorporating investment content, client analytics and prospecting activity.
The Business Manager is the go-to person for sub-market heads on multiple topics and is in charge of the sales operating rhythm. He / she should follow a standardized sales process and framework defined across EMEA including weekly reporting, pipeline management, prospects list management, team meetings, sales meetings, production of standard reports.
**Key Responsibilities of the role**:
- **Management**:
- Provide any support required by the sub-market heads in terms of financials, book screening or strategic analysis.
- Support sub-market heads in the production of required updates for the respective Management and Strategy meetings e.g. Management Board, Executive Committees, Market Review meeting, DBS Board of Directors, Core Leadership Council, Markets / Team Deep Dives,
- Creation and revision of strategy documents for the various locations and development plan.
- **Sales planning**:
- Support sub-market heads in defining their sales activity ambitions to meet the given revenue / NNA / New Clients targets, and monitor the sales activities metrics to ensure progress towards KPI ambitions.
- Ensure a proper sales planning and end of the year book review to ensure objectives are split across desks, teams and individuals in a SMART manner.
- Provide regular tracking to assess the performance of the respective desks, teams and individuals along the year, including both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- **Prospecting activity management**:
- Focus on new account funding and prospecting efforts for the region.
- Maintain a Market prospects list where you maintain the list of 20 prospect per RM (and the respective checks) and adequate guidelines
- Ensure follow-up are done on GIT (Get in Touch) request we receive from the DB website
- Provides guidance in regards to Market Purity and coordination to facilitate this process
- **Products**:
- Work in close collaboration with Coverage, IM and GPS to drive content across Coverage and Clients.
- Raise awareness of coverage about any new product launch, timeline for subscriptions and availability of client-friendly documentation.
- Ensure effective connectivity between Coverage and Products and sales discipline
- Support identification and delivery of sales and product training to Coverage when needed.
- **Financials**:
- Follow-up on Financials to ensure proper revenues recognition to the respective sub-markets.
- Provide any detailed analysis with the support of Finance functions to analyze the current status versus targets, future achievements and forecasts.
- Run data driven sales initiatives to drive penetration, revenue and asset growth.
- Collaborate with Coverage, IM and GPS on targeted book screening that is revenue and NNA accretive (unused credit limits, deposits positions, cash positions...).
**Required Profile**:
- Educated to degree level or with relevant industry experience
- Relevant industry experience, at least 5 years, in a business management function with a genuine interest in Wealth Management
- Successful track record on project delivery with the ability to lead a project team
- Strong team player, also able to meet tight deadlines and multi-task
- Self-motivated and goal orientated or proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with a positive approach
- Able to work in a high paced environment under pressure
- Meticulous, methodical and concise, with a strong attention to detail
- Professional integrity
- Someone with high service standards and attitude, and a strong ability to be flexible
- Eager to help improve our processes, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Fluent (written and oral) in English; other languages are a plus (e.g., French)
