Minimum qualifications: - Experience in Human Resources or business partnerships. - Experience with data, analysis, trends, and reports. Preferred qualifications: - Experience in HR, people programs, staffing, or other large-scale people related roles. - Experience in client-service orientation with a focus on delivering excellent customer service. - Knowledge of local labor law and employee relation case management. - Ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis. **About the job**: People Operations strives to revolutionize human resources the same way that Google has revolutionized search. Whether coaching our clients on how to lead their teams, navigating and resolving employee relations issues or managing programs that help develop our Googlers, you are exceptionally focused on putting them first, and being as clear and transparent as possible to help Googlers understand how people decisions get made. As a member of the People Consultant team in EMEA, you will act as a trusted HR advisor for individual contributors, people managers, and leaders, providing day to day HR support and generalist advice across the People Operations menu of services. As an adept advisor and coach, you will use your HR expertise, judgment, listening, and conflict mediation skills to be there for Googlers in the moments that matter the most. This might be through individual consultations, working with managers on supporting their teams, or advising leaders on team and organizational effectiveness and design. The Tech team specifically works with Googlers across the product areas in EMEA, such as Knowledge and Information, Research, YouTube, and others. Great just isn't good enough for our People Operations team (known elsewhere as "Human Resources"). You’ll play an essential role advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Google through our hiring, promotion, retention, and inclusion practices. **Responsibilities**: - Provide HR support and consultation to the business by answering employee and manager queries about HR programs and policies. - Provide dynamic consultations in performance enablement, team effectiveness, manager and leader effectiveness, navigating transitions, and day to day Googler support. - Build Googler, manager, and leader capability through coaching and guidance in multi-dimensional dynamic consultations. - Capture data and surface trends/themes across consultations and influence partners on forward thinking interventions that enable a better Googler experience. - Lead investigations and interventions on employee relations issues and team dynamic challenges.
