As a global People Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the people operations practices and processes. Your duties will involve managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, and talent management.

This is a full-time and permanent role, based in **Zurich, Switzerland**, with home-office flexibility, and reporting to the Chief Finance Officer.

**Responsibilities of the role will include**:

- Enhance or develop and implement People strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, providing direction, advice and support to the management team.
- Provide the HR metrics and prepare analytical and insightful reports to assist management with quick and effective decision making.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, and motivation of the employees.
- Oversee and manage the performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Keep up to date with market salaries and benefits programmes to support with benchmarking for existing and new roles.
- Ensure all people processes and activities comply with local legal requirements staying abreast of updates in employment legislation and best practice and acting to ensure any necessary changes are promptly and effectively implemented.
- Update policies and procedures regularly and as necessary ensuring compliance with local legislation and best practice.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

**Requirements and skills**:

- Proven international working experience as HR Manager or other similar HR role; preferably in a start-up environment and within the tech industry.
- Working knowledge of HRIS, ATS and LMS; BambooHR and Greenhouse are a plus.
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and best practices, in particular of Switzerland, US and UK.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent command of English, German is a plus.
