**Vice President Procurement Marketing Consumer Health (M/F/d)**

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- You establish and maintain your team as engaging and professional business partners who can work both flexibly and efficiently to support Consumer Health Marketing & Sales business priorities
- You deliver ideas and proposals to enable business goals (e.g., EBIT savings pipeline, agency performance management approaches)
- Together with the procurement Category Leads, you monitor market developments of CH’s competitors and agencies and stay up to date on third party innovation opportunities for Bayer
- You contribute to the development, review and implementation of relevant procurement (category) strategies and execute Procurement-wide initiatives in your team’s area of responsibility
- You lead your team and mobilize the larger procurement network (e.g., Bayer procurement, GEP, GBS) to create a competitive advantage for Bayer (e.g., scope optimization, supplier selection, spend optimization, thought impulses & market inspirations) throughout the Source-to-Pay activities
- Operationally, you ensure strategic alignment of Procurement’s functional priorities as well as compliance with internal regulations and external regulatory requirements
- You engage with a broad range of creative & media agencies and other marketing organizations by establishing and maintaining a fit-for-purpose supplier governance framework to manage strategic relationship as well as operational performance and ad-hoc escalations

**WHO YOU ARE**
- Master’s degree in Business Management, Science, or equivalent
- Extensive professional experience in Marketing or Procurement, preferably with multinational corporations in relevant life sciences
- Profound understanding of Consumer Health strategic goals (e.g., business plan by category / brand) as well as their operational plans (e.g., annual budget planning).
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills based on excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a strong play-to-win mindset and a constructive communications style
- A result-driven achiever who thrives in a complex and an ambiguous environment, with a strong sense of responsibility, intellectual curiosity, strong analytical skills and financial acumen
- Sound understanding of Procurement core value add and its activities, with the ability to translate strategic marketing objectives into realistic procurement activity
- A proven track record of learning and developing others (e.g., people leadership responsibilities in a global organization)
- High proficiency level in English, both written and spoken
