**How you will contribute**:

- You will implement product-specific, manufacturing unit-operation advanced analytics models for process dynamics and control engineering.
- You will leverage established data infrastructure and digital platforms to create digitizable, numerical (mechanistic, hybrid and statistical/machine learning) models for unit-operation soft-sensing, forecasting and simulation, that incorporate physical parameters and fundamental principles such as thermodynamics, transport phenomena, fluid dynamics and molecular kinetics.
- By supporting data readiness for process simulation capabilities (dry lab) for process visualization, troubleshooting, problem-solving and predictive modeling.
- Will execute optimization initiatives to achieve manufacturing process efficiency improvements.
- You will be the one leveraging NorthStar technologies & platforms
- Build validated and documented data blueprints with the right data availability, quality & context which are automated within the cloud to enable the development of ready-to-scale process models for unit operations, increase automation and prepare factory of the future for manufacturing sciences.
- You will support data contextualization and end-user requirements collection to digitize manufacturing unit operations.

**What you bring to Takeda**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in STEM preferably (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics).
- Chemical/Biochemical Engineering) with a post-graduate degree (Masters/PhD) would be highly desirable.
- You are familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.
- Hands-on experience with digitizing industrial processes, computational modeling, process simulation, soft sensor models, and data analytics.
- You are knowledgeable in statistical/machine learning/deep learning/AI methodologies.
- Strong expertise in Machine Learning and AI/Deep Learning algorithms (PCA, PLS, RF, XGB, SVM, LSTM, etc.), cross-validation and hyper-parameter tuning techniques, model interpretation and deployment.
- Expertise in (multi-variate and multi-step) Time Series Analysis, in mechanistic and hybrid modeling approaches.
- Experience with Soft Sensor development for drug manufacturing processes is a strong asset.
- Good programming knowledge of Python required, further skills such as R, Matlab, Plotly, Streamlit, RShiny, PowerBI, SQL etc. are advantageous.
- Experience with Discoverant, SIMCA Online & Offline, OSI PI, Databricks, Flow-sheeting software.
- You have prior experience of SCRUM and other project management methodologies are a strong asset.
- Good knowledge of data engineering, contextualization & understanding of FAIR data principles.
