(Junior) Business Risk Manager

For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a motivated
(Junior) Business Risk Manager - Operational Risk
In this role, you will be part of the First Line of Defense Support department, which partners with the Front Office to promote a sound risk culture and implement an effective operational risk and control framework across the bank. You will act as the main point of contact for various risk topics as well.
**Your Qualifications**:
- **3+ years of existing Risk experience gathered either in First Line of Defense, Compliance, or Audit is essential**:
- **Very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills**:
- Able to take ownership of topics and work independently
- Flexibility and ability to set priorities
- **Fluent in English**
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Enhancing the existing control landscape, as well as timely and meaningful management risk reporting
- Support in strategic risk initiatives, coordination of audit and regulatory activities including remediation work while partnering with the Second line of Defense (2LOD) as well as other stakeholders (such as regulators and audit)
- Establishing standards, front office guidelines and training concepts to mitigate issues, increase effectiveness of controls through early identification and resolution of issues
- Perform analyses and read-across on issues discovered through metrics, self-identified issues, incidents, regulatory and audit findings and represent in key initiatives, lead specific projects and coordinate periodic risk-based client reviews
