**YOUR CHALLENGE**:
You will be responsible for the full range of tasks of data privacy and outsourcing-related topics, such as:
- Giving legal advice to the global data privacy organization of Julius Baer Group including all relevant stakeholders (such as Information Security, IT, Procurement, HR, Business and Legal) on all matters of data privacy, outsourcing, IT, digitization, and procurement, to cover legal and regulatory requirements, appropriately mitigate risks and operationalize Julius Baer's global data privacy strategy and data privacy framework
- Drafting and negotiating contracts in the procurement area
- Preparing and maintaining legal documents, forms and templates in all of the above-mentioned fields
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Master of Laws, a Swiss bar exam and ideally a postgraduate qualification (e.g. LL.M.)
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a lawyer in a similar function in or outside the financial industry, in a law firm or a consulting firm
- experience as a Swiss data protection officer is a plus
- profound and practical knowledge of data protection laws and outsourcing regulations in CH and EU
- excellent communication and negotiation skills
- outstanding problem solving skills, is an interdisciplinary and conceptual thinker and drives the required results home
- excellent command of German and English, any additional language is a plus
