**The Role**:This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing Supply Chain organization. T he Senior Manager will have a pivotal role collaborating with colleagues in Supply Chain, Commercial and Finance, to ensure a complete, accurate, timely and unconstrained demand single is available to all supply nodes in the tactical horizon to enable informed decision on time to fulfil the demand. This role requires an individual with attention to details, an analytical mindset and an ability to maneuver through complex situations building constructive and effective relationships.
**Here’s What You’ll Do**:
- Drives and facilitates the consensus demand review meetings at local level with Commercial and Finance
- Responsible that demand is generated at item level and transmitted to the supply node in the tactical horizon
- Set and maintain relevant master data and to ensure the demand signal is transmitted to the supply nodes
- Supports in country new product introductions or line extensions
- Review demand on a regular basis to drive effective and accurate forecasting and replenishment planning incl. ie life cycle events
- Ensures Business rationales and assumptions behind demand changes are evaluated, documented, and informs significant demand changes to the supply nodes as well as Commercial Forecasting and Finance
- Is responsible to measure and drive completeness, accuracy, and stability of the demand signal
- Owns and understand the demand and demand scenarios
- Supports Supply planning functions in risk and sensitivity analyses
- Develops and drives continuous improvement by initiating and participating in cross-functional initiatives and sharing lessons learnt within organization.
- Develops strong relationship und communication processes within the organization including Finance, Commercial and Regulatory
- Accommodates ad hoc tasks which are necessary to achieve the business objectives of the unit and function.
**Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table**:
- Education: University degree in management/business administration, supply chain or science (pharmacy, biotech)
- Minimum 7 Years including at least 3 years’ experience in a demand planning role
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in various pharmaceutical functions (supply chain, production, procurement)
- Good understanding of the Pharma industry & supply chain needs strongly preferred (Biotech experience a plus)
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) to collaborate in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment - you are outgoing, communicative, and seek to build relationships on a daily basis
- Intercultural experience and ability to act in a complex and rapidly changing environment
- You drive for results - you set a high bar for yourself and others. You love what you do, and it shows
- Ability to effectively collaborate in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment
- Ability to manage multiple customers in a fast-paced environment
