Sr. Manager, Release Coordination

**The Role**:
The Sr. Manager is responsible for the coordination between CMO’s, Quality, Manufacturing Operations, and others as necessary to ensure reliable on-time flow of intermediates, drug substance and drug product through the value chain. You will have the responsibility to ensure the latest delivery information is kept up to date and relayed to your internal customers as well as identify and close gaps within the supply chain in order to satisfy customer expectations. Using your analytical and project management experiences, you will serve as an advocate for our internal and external customers by anticipating supply challenges and working end-to-end to find potential opportunities to pull in deliveries or releases prior to original delivery dates.

**Here’s What You’ll Do**:
Define release priorities in line with commercial priorities

Oversee end-to-end value chain from manufacturing completion through shipment.

Ensure daily and weekly planned vs. actual measurements by tracking lot readiness from the moment it gets out of production to final release and shipment to customers

Collaborate with our organization and logistics groups to enable successful delivery timelines of intermediates and finished products.

Use your experiences to develop best-in-class role documentation.

Represent Supply Chain in various prioritization activities using your knowledge of the lot status and risks.

Collaborate with customers within the value stream to interpret and research expedite requests.

Support product launches and line expansion as part of the value stream.

Work with Suppliers and internal departments to identify and develop potential solutions

**Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table**:
**Education**:
University degree in Supply Chain, Science or Economics/Finance.

**Experience**:
M.S. with 7-10 years’ experience within Biotech, Pharma or related industries or B.S. with 10-13 years’ relevant experience.

Experience in Site-focused Customer Service; expediting roles desired.

APICS/ASCM CSCP accreditations preferred.

3-5 years’ experience with SAP MPS and MRP

Ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Working knowledge of site supply chain processes including demand management, S&OP, production planning, capacity planning, material planning and procurement, order fulfilment, master data and life-cycle management.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across boundaries (functional and cultural) and form effective working relationships with colleagues.

Customer and business focused - determined to deliver successful outcomes in a cost-effective way.

Demonstrated change management and process management experience is preferred: demonstrated usage of data to drive process improvements.

Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
