The position holder will be responsible for the management of the administration, production and laboratory buildings in Zurich as well as their technical facilities. You will be the interface between the business, internal and external service providers and the owner of the buildings. You will ensure a smooth and well-functioning running of daily operations. In addition, you will look for continuous improvements, including cost savings. Environment topics are part of your ambition and contribution towards continuous improvement initiatives.
Your tasks
- Execute the maintenance contracts and tasks for an intact building shell and its exterior areas, for the maintenance, control of technical building systems and equipment as well as the associated work
- Continuous improvement of environmental measures
- Lead proper operation and availability of fire alarm systems and fire protection
- Assess, develop, optimize, and manage a workplace design tailored to the company
- Plan, monitor and control of janitor services, waste management and minor repairs
- Contact person and interface for internal and external service providers
- Act as internal and external contact person for Facility Management
- Lead the Facility Management Team
**Profile**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Facility Management or Building Technology
- Sound professional experience in the care of buildings and their technical facilities
- Good IT skills, (Office, SAP, ideally Campos)
- Flawless communication with internal and external interfaces (in-house and external service providers)
- Outstanding planning and organizational talent, with high resilience, willingness to change and open to new ideas
- Excellent leadership, team and social skills
- Assertiveness and motivation
- Fluent in English and German
