Sales and business development manager

This position will be located at the company’s headquarters in Fribourg, Switzerland.
Main tasks
- Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets and growth areas.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for new products and technologies and across the organization.
- Nurture and develop the existing customer base and identify new business opportunities with a strong focus on driving new client acquisition.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and R&D teams to ensure alignment and enhance the efficiency of commercial initiatives.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.
- Represent the organization at international exhibitions and events.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in sales and business development of machinery equipment.
- Fluent in English and either German or French. Additional languages are a plus.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated and active team player, results-oriented with a "hunter" mindset and a passion for acquiring new customers.
- Willingness to travel approx. 30% of your time.
