Accelerate your career and become part of a renowned private bank in Switzerland. Contribute to the bank’s revenue situation in Julius Baer’s Pricing and Revenue Management department.Our team drives strategic cross-divisional initiatives, identifies and conceptualizes revenue optimization measures, and reports insights to the Group CFO and other members of the senior management team. We closely collaborate with our colleagues at the Front Office to support with pricing guidance and transparency on our own pricing platforms & tools.
The future colleague will support the team in ensuring the bank's pricing strategies aligns with the bank’s strategic revenue objectives while adhering to our governance and risk management frameworks. This role involves collaborating with various departments to analyze, develop, roll out and monitor pricing initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience in products and services provided by private banking, is keen to interact with Front Office colleagues and has sound understanding of risk management & control framework practices.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Governance Excellence: Support the team in developing and maintaining pricing governance frameworks, conduct regular reviews and pricing strategies and processes and their adherence to global and local minimum standards.
Governance Boards: Assist the management in preparing and presenting reports on pricing governance to senior management and regulatory authorities, if required.
Market trends: Analyze market trends and changes in regulations, competitor pricing, and client behavior to derive recommendation for pricing strategies and processes.
Pricing Initiatives: Support the team in responding to current revenue challenges, potential improvement levers, and design new pricing strategies (e.g., digital assets/wealth), analyse revenue situation and trends (e.g., pricing situation, product & price model usage, price level enforcement)
Communication and change management: Contribute by fostering a transparent and proactive communication, coordinate change management activities across function for pricing relevant change activities.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Front Office, Legal & Risk Management and CFO functions and other key stakeholders globally and in other locations focusing on risk assessment and pricing controls to minimize financial and operational risks.
Pricing Analysis and Strategy: Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and client behavior to derive recommendation for pricing strategies.
Revenue Analysis: Independently analyze revenue & pricing opportunities and evaluate their impact potential (e.g. business case calculation)
YOUR PROFILE
Exceptional academic record: degree in finance, economics, data science, or business administration
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Private Banking, strategy consulting or financial services
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills, passionate about data analytics
Excellent communication and presentation skills (incl. command of Power Point)
Proactive mindset and willingness to take on responsibility
Experience in Risk Management, Legal or other governance functions considered a plus
Team player and professional interaction with stakeholders
Fluent in English, other languages are an advantage
