Reporting to the VP, Corporate Communications, you will be a versatile storyteller, brand guardian, and strategist, managing multiple channels to ensure consistent, compelling messaging across internal and external audiences. This hands-on role requires creativity, adaptability, and experience in content creation, media relations, digital platforms, and brand management, thriving in a fast-paced environment during a pivotal period of growth and transformation. Key Responsibilities Content Development: Create and edit high-quality content for press releases, blogs, case studies, thought leadership pieces, website, and internal communications. Website & Social Media Management: Oversee updates to the corporate website and manage social media channels to drive engagement and brand visibility. Public Relations: Assist in building and maintaining relationships with media and industry analysts; coordinate interviews, briefings, and coverage opportunities. Brand Governance: Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all materials and platforms. Event & Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing team on corporate events, webinars, and campaigns to amplify messaging and reach. Internal Communications: Develop strategies and materials to keep employees informed and engaged. Measurement & Reporting: Track and report on communication metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement. RequirementsQualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field. 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, marketing communications, public relations or a similar role. Energy, utility, power generation, oil and gas, renewables, or similar industry knowledge. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across all levels. Ability to translate engineer speak to customer friendly materials. Familiarity with digital tools (CMS, social media platforms, analytics). Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills. Experience with thought leadership programs and public relations. Knowledge of SEO and content optimization. Experience with visual design and layout is a plus.
