Background
The

We work with a global network of researchers, advocates, lawyers, and campaigners to expose the true scale of the problem, support reform efforts, and ensure that polluters are held accountable.
The Role

This role is responsible for designing and delivering strategies to shape the public narrative around oil and gas cleanup liabilities and support campaigning strategies, with an aim of building global pressure for accountability and reform.
The successful candidate will be a self-directed communications strategist who can also oversee and drive delivery through complex, multinational coalitions. While the role includes responsibility for building the Polluter Pays Project brand, the primary purpose of this role is to drive real world impact through building and supporting an ecosystem of communication partners. This will include both supporting the work of advocacy and campaigning colleagues, as well as building communications-led strategies and storytelling.
You will be joining a small, ambitious, and highly collaborative team working to bring visibility and urgency to one of the most neglected issues in global energy transition finance.

Communications Delivery
Provide strategic advice and delivery support to Polluter Pays allies and partners, for example, around media launches, events, digital campaigns, etc. Support development of fundraising communications that clearly and effectively articulate the work and impact of the Polluter Pays Project and its partners Support the planning and delivery of events to support Polluter Pays Project objectives Recruit and manage a network of agencies and freelancers to support the delivery of Polluter Pays and coalition work.
