Nature and aim of the position This part-time (50%) position is responsible for developing and implementing the digital marketing and communication strategy for Global Blue Switzerland.The role includes co-responsibility for the marketing budget and active support to the sales team in promoting and selling Global Blue's and third-party digital marketing campaigns, products, and services.The Marketing Specialist will also ensure the set-up, training, and maintenance of all necessary digital infrastructure, and sales and marketing materials. Main duties and responsibilities o Implementation of customer-specific marketing campaigns — from presenting the available options, to data analysis, planning, monitoring, and final review.o Deliver the assigned number of e-newsletters in three languages with call to action of applicable digital communication tools (e.g. Pardot). Analyse response rates and initiate corrective measures when results materially deviate from expectationso Develop and manage alternative communication channels such as social media and mobile platforms, ensuring relevant and engaging contento Ensure all in-store sales materials (digital and print) are up to date, adapting them to reflect the latest products and services. Support front-end systems with communication tools to increase the online refund ratioo Periodically review and improve the content and user experience of the Mobile Customer Care (MCC) platform, and support its uptake through communication campaigns targeted at merchants and travellers.o Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal marketing and communication teams to exchange best practices and implement corporate campaigns, including performance follow-upo Negotiate and manage relationships with marketing and communication vendors, including pricing and contract termso Continuously monitor marketing and communication priorities and implement corrective actions when neededo Conduct quality assessments and propose technical or digital training solutions for merchants (e.g., Digital Academy), supporting related IT implementationso Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM system and generate relevant reportso Collaborate with corporate teams and other business units to enhance the marketing and sales knowledge of local sales and merchant support teams with the attendance of the monthly sales meeting delivering marketing updates and information regarding planned or active campaignso Ensure full compliance with Group policies, SOX and applicable lawso Support the Managing Director in preparing marketing and sales country budgets, forecasts, reports, other relevant business document and is primarily responsible for organizing internal events for Global Blue Switzerland (such as the summer party, Christmas party, Green Week, etc.) Skills & Key competencies o Excellent communication and analytical skillso Strong customer orientation and team spirito Solid knowledge of digital marketing channels and toolso Proactive, self-motivated, and highly organizedo Creative mindset and strong business acumeno Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilitieso Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence across all levelso Experienced in CRM and campaign reporting systemso Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)o Web design and content management knowledgeo Flexible, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure Reporting and collaboration The holder of this position will report to the Managing Director Switzerland and she/he will collaborate with:o Sales teamo Corporate communication team and Consumer Engagement teamso Merchant Service support functionso Key customers and business stakeholderso International marketing teams Education and qualifications o University Degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing or Communicationo Several years of proven experience in digital marketing, advertising, or sales channels (agency or B2B/B2C environment preferred)o Strong conceptual and communication skillso Results-oriented, with determination to achieve objectives and contribute to long-term digital strategyo Fluent in German and English (written and spoken) – any additional language is a further asset Experience The ideal candidate has prior experience as a Marketing Specialist or similar role within a B2B/B2C company or communication agency, with proven success in working in an international and matrix organization.
