Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled engineer to join our research team at EPFL or ETHZ Hönggerberg. As a Systems Engineer for the Development of Superconducting Parametric Amplifier Technology, you will be part of an international team working on cutting-edge quantum devices.

Responsibilities
  • Design and simulation of packaging for parametric amplifiers to minimize mismatches, thermal gradients, and ensure optimal magnetic field shielding
  • Exploration of novel packaging solutions for future iterations of the device

You will have the opportunity to work on a comprehensive infrastructure, expertise, and collaborative network available within our research groups.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • Proficiency in CAD software and design tools
  • Proficiency in Printed Circuit Board design tools
  • Organizational skills
  • Initiative and creativity in developing innovative packaging methods
