Quantum Technology Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team at EPFL or ETHZ Hönggerberg. As a Systems Engineer for the Development of Superconducting Parametric Amplifier Technology, you will be part of an international team working on quantum devices.
Responsibilities- Design and simulation of packaging for parametric amplifiers to minimize mismatches, thermal gradients, and to ensure optimal magnetic field shielding
- Exploration of novel packaging solutions for future iterations of the device
Your research will benefit from the comprehensive infrastructure, expertise, and collaborative network available within our research groups.
Requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Proficiency in CAD software and design tools
- Proficiency in Printed Circuit Board design tools
- Organizational skills
- Initiative and creativity in developing innovative packaging methods
