Research Opportunity
The Quantum Material Dynamics group at ETH Zürich is seeking a highly motivated researcher to investigate the ultrafast dynamics of quantum materials under pressure. The successful candidate will work closely with Prof. Elsa Abreu to design and conduct experiments to study the dynamical response of quantum materials to ultrashort pulses of light.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and conduct experiments to study the ultrafast dynamics of quantum materials under pressure
- Collaborate with the research group to develop new experimental techniques and methods
- Contribute to the analysis and interpretation of experimental data
- Present research findings at international conferences and publish in leading scientific journals
Requirements
- Master's degree in physics, material sciences, or a related field
- Background in condensed matter physics and experience with time-resolved experiments
- Proficiency in oral and written English
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
