Postdoctoral Researcher for Superconducting Parametric Amplifier Technology Development

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at EPFL or ETHZ Hoenggerberg, where you will be at the forefront of experimental research on superconducting parametric amplifier technology. As a member of our research team, you will contribute to the development of new devices and techniques, collaborating closely with our international team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Simulation of parametric amplifier circuits: Using nonlinear optics techniques and harmonic balance to design and optimize amplifier circuits.
- Design and development of new devices: Refining our existing python-based design packages to create a new generation of superconducting devices.
- Advanced microwave measurements: Conducting experiments in state-of-the-art cryogenic setups to assess the gain profile and quantum-limited noise performance of the amplifiers.
**Requirements**
- PhD in physics, quantum engineering, or electrical engineering, with a focus on superconducting nonlinear devices.
- Extensive experience in simulating electrical circuits and devices.
- Strong research skills and ability to conduct independent research.
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
