About the Job


We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Circuits Engineer to join our team at EPFL or ETHZ Hönggerberg. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and simulating packaging solutions for parametric amplifiers to minimize mismatches, thermal gradients, and ensure optimal magnetic field shielding.



Job Description


As a key member of our research team, you will contribute to regular team meetings to report on project progress and work closely with international colleagues. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Design and simulation of packaging for parametric amplifiers
  • Exploration of novel packaging solutions for future iterations of the device

About You


We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in quantum technology based on superconducting quantum circuits. Essential skills and qualifications include:



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • Proficiency in CAD software and design tools
  • Proficiency in Printed Circuit Board design tools
  • Organizational skills
  • Initiative and creativity in developing innovative packaging methods


Location and Salary


The successful candidate will be based at EPFL or ETHZ Hönggerberg in Switzerland. We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around CHF 80,000 - 100,000 per year, depending on experience.
