">We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team of world-class experts in software engineering and data processing. As part of our cutting-edge research platform, you will be working on developing high-performance data analysis solutions using Java.
">Your Responsibilities
">- ">
- Conduct in-depth research on open-source data processing frameworks such as Spark Structured Streaming, Apache Beam, Kafka Streams, and modern Kubernetes-based deployment solutions like Knative and OpenFaaS;">
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable data analysis platforms based on your research findings and collaborate with colleagues;">
- Work closely with accelerator physicists and equipment specialists to create tailored libraries, APIs, and configuration facilities for users to develop and deploy algorithms written in Python and Java.">

- Familiarity with serverless frameworks (Knative and/or OpenFaaS);">
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker/Podman, Kubernetes);">
- Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture;">
- A strong understanding of big data processing and machine learning concepts.">
About You
">To be successful in this role, you must have:

- A Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience or a PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience;">
- A background in software engineering or a related field;">
- Fluent English language skills, with proficiency in French being an asset.">

- A monthly stipend ranging from 6212 to 6828 Swiss Francs per month (net of tax);">

- Different allowances (installation grant, family, child, and infant allowances), payment of travel expenses at the beginning and end of contract, and up to 30 days of paid leave per year;">

About Your Contract
">You will be employed under a fixed-term contract lasting 24 months, with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
