Job SummaryThe Associate Director of Business Operations will lead a team in managing and optimizing the operational aspects of R&D China. This role will focus on risk and compliance management, audit, cross-functional productivity initiatives, event activity management, facility alignment, EHS, and other activities to ensure smooth operation and alignment with the company's overall business strategy.
Responsibilities- Risk and Compliance Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and company policies, including data privacy, cross-border data transfer requirements, EHS, etc.
- Cross-functional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Collaborate with various departments to develop, implement, and maintain SOPs that streamline processes, ensure consistency, and promote best practices across the R&D organization.
- Productivity Enhancement: Identify and implement initiatives to improve cross-functional productivity, including process optimization, technology adoption, and resource allocation.
- Event Activity Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee R&D-related events, including scientific conferences, workshops, and internal meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among participants.
- Facility Management: Manage R&D facilities to ensure they are well-maintained and compliant with safety and regulatory standards.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field, experience in pharmaceutical R&D is preferable.
- Skills: Strong understanding of the drug development process, regulatory landscape, and data privacy requirements is preferable. Proven track record of managing complex operations, facilities, and cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple stakeholders, and deliver results on time and within budget. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
